Day Eighty-One- A Dense Clark Girl Moment

If you didn't know, us Clark girls all have our dense moments in life. Well today was one of those days for me.

I came home from work and was relaxing with Doug and we started joking around...and this is the conversation:

A: Well do you want to be a widow?
D: I can't be a widow, that's just women. I would be a widower.
A: What the crap is a widower? You would be a widow.
D: REALLY ASHLEY?? You don't know what a widower is?
A: Isn't it the person who dies and the other one is the widow? So If I die, I'm the widower and your the widow?
(He is now laughing really hard at me)So we looked it up on dictionary.com.....and Doug was right of course.

Doug then has to text my dad and tell him what I said. So my loving dad tells Doug to ask me about a past dense moment I had years ago. Oh how I love the men in my life!

Then I had to call Steph to see if she knew what a widower was. I told her the story and she began to laugh at me too and said,"oh Jason is going to love this one!"

There are quite a few other moments my sisters and I have had, but we all have basically sworn to never let it leave the family.

I sure do love my family and especially Doug for still loving me after this conversation.

*****Speaking of Clarks, This morning Doug and I had breakfast with Grandpa and Grandma Clark , and Jordan. They were driving through Provo on their way back down to Vegas, so they decided to visit their favorite grandchildren in Provo. I love my grandparents so much and I love spending time with them. =)
