Day One Hundred and Seventeen-School, Schools, and More Schools

In two years Doug and I will not be in Utah. Doug will be in Grad school and so hopefully we will be somewhere else besides here. Doug and I looked over the top three schools and here they are...

1. University of Michigan

Don't worry I've done my homework...this is what the winters are like...

THIS COULD BE ME!!! All I have to say is that if I have to live in winters like this...I should get a baby to play with.

The campus does look really pretty which means that when it is not winter it could be quite enjoyable.

2. University of Minnesota
We have both heard great things about this school and its Alumni program. The Alumni are really good at helping out the Grad students.

They have some pretty cold winters too =/

However, it could be kinda fun to live in the City for a while

3. University of North Carolina

I want to go here! Valerie and Rob checked it out and they said it was just beautiful there. I know I know they have snowy winters too, but If it is extra beautiful the other times of the year I think I can handle it.

So in about one year Doug will be applying for schools and overall if Doug were to get into one of these schools or any other school I would support him and be by his side the entire time. (Even if I had to be in miserable winters, I would do it for him.)

I know we will end up going where the Lord wants and needs us and we are both okay with that.

  2. Is Doug going in to Healthcare Admin? That is what Shea is doing and we just checked out a bunch of Grad Schools on the East Coast (UNC, VCU, Johns Hopkins, GW).

  3. I agree babies are great company for long snowy winters. Been there, done that.
I still hope you end up somewhere warm like Texas!
