About a week ago I had a nervous breakdown.

I was at a Relief Society activity and a sister in my ward said she had her baby at 34 weeks. Then being 32 weeks I thought, OMG, there is NO way I am prepared to have this little guy come in 2 weeks.

So a list was made of everything we still need to get before he comes. On Saturday, Doug and I headed to Target and Babies R' Us to get some more of the essentials. We got some sheets, receiving blankets and I did a BUNCH of laundry.

I'm feeling a little more prepared but not completely. I still can't decide on a stroller. I know it is driving Doug nuts that I just can't pick one but I'm not in love with any patterns I've seen. Where are the plain neutral color strollers with no weird patterns???

  1. you'll be fine!! Something that I didn't know about is the stuff you might need for yourself. Get at least 2 packages of Maxi-pads!! I had no idea how much you bleed after having a baby. AND don't worry. You won't even use your stroller for awhile since you won't be taking your baby anywhere. You'll use the car seat, yes, but probably not the stroller. If your mom isn't going to be in town, make sure that Doug takes off at least 3-4 days from work so that he can help, because it will be slightly hard to move just because you PUSHED A BABY OUT OF YOUR BODY! haha. It gets better with every day though, so you'll do great.

Also, go grocery shopping before your due date. Get 'easy eating' foods that you can grab and eat for snacks -- Because during that first week, you will be so sore and slightly overwhelmed with baby that you will forget to eat (at least I do)

DON'T STRESS!! Take time to really enjoy these last 2 months, because life really changes sooooo much!! You won't sit next to your husband in a car anymore, hahaha -- little random stuff like that all changes. However, what everyone says is true -- It's all worth it when you see that little babe. You will love it!!! I am so excited to see your little man!
