Today I attempted to be crafty and make Matix a bow-tie for his blessing. I don't sew, so I found a tutorial that used double sided tape. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be.
Doug was awesome and helped a lot with it.
I really like the look of bow-ties on little boys. I'm hoping I can master how to make these ones so that I can make some more.
Side note: We've been having a hard time getting Matix to sleep on his own for naps. We were constantly having to hold him if we wanted him to sleep for longer than 10 min. Well tonight before we made the bow-tie we figured out the secret. We have to swaddle him in his swaddle blanket and then put him in his swing. Doing this he slept for 45 min. It was amazing!

That is what I did with the twins as well! They LOVED it.
ReplyDeleteBree slept in her swing all the time- it was the only place she would nap until she was 6 months. Happy Matix loves it too!
