California

I just got home from a much needed trip home with Matix. Sadly Doug had to stay behind and make some moolah to support us. 

This was Matix's first trip to California and on a plane. He did as well as a baby could do on a plane. He ate, played, cried a little when he got tired and took some naps. 

Just a couple of days after I got to California, my sister Valerie and her two girls got there too. It was the first time all three of us girls had been in the same place since my wedding. I sure do love my sisters. My parents were kind enough to watch all the kids one afternoon so my sisters and I could go out to lunch with no kids. 

Matix loved all of the attention he got from his cousins. They called him "baby Matix" not just Matix. The girls would run around him, put toys in his face, help me change his diapers, and want to hold him non stop. 

Matix was a chick magnet at the airport.

It was a nice trip to California. I loved being with my parents, sisters, and nieces. Trips like this make me so grateful for the family I have and all the fun times we all have together.
