Day Twenty Nine- We love Buckin' Bulls

This morning Doug and I went to Seven Peaks with our friends Aubrey and Brock. We spent almost all day there. We went on quite a few of the huge slides, well the boys did at least. I'm so glad I had Aubrey there with me because she didn't want to go down the steep slides either. I'm so glad we have some good married friends to hang out with!

Isn't he a stud?!

Look at my brave husband!

Doug and Brock

Tonight was Doug's night to pick a date for us and boy did he pick one...we went to a RODEO!! This was my FIRST rodeo EVER!!! I was so excited for it. We went up to West Valley and went to the Days of '47 Rodeo. As soon as we stepped in the Maverik Center I felt like I was on another planet. I've never been around so many cowboys in my life. It was weird to think this was their way of life and how they lived. THANK YOU MOM AND DAD FOR NOT BEING COWBOYS AND RAISING ME LIKE THAT!!!
Anyway, the whole thing was way cool, until I burst out in tears!!! I'm sorry but some of the events seems liked animal abuse to me. The poor cow was tripping over the lasso AND the poor steer was having its legs yanked so they could tie them up. That was the worst part. Even ask Doug if you don't believe me, I really did cry. Our kids will NEVER do anything like that! Besides the animal abuse the rest was great. I loved the buckin' horses and bulls. We even saw some guy get kicked by the bull and it just shot him to the ground.
Overall great date! Thanks hunny!

Only at a rodeo =)

Some pretty sweet buckin' horses

And this would be the buckin' bull!

Everyone is crowded around a guy that got kicked by the bull.
