The rain stopped long enough for Kyle and Julia to come out of the temple and get one group picture. Then it was off to the visitor’s center to take the rest of the pictures. After pictures a yummy luncheon, we headed back to Camarillo. There was a good 4hours between the temple and the reception and so we went to Doug’s house and hung out there for a while. It was nice to spend time with Brandon and Lindsey and their cuties. Brooklyn loved showing me her room and we had a lot of fun playing in there with Easton too.
Kyle and Julia’s reception was at the Maddux’s house. They had food and tables inside and a dance floor under a tent outside. Every part of their day was beautiful, from the sealing to their first dance as husband and wife.
I’m so glad Doug and I were able to be part of their special day. They are very close and dear friends to us. I’m not sure if many of you know this but, Kyle and Julia started dating a month after Doug and I. So that summer was filled with quite a few double dates with Kyle and Julia. Over that summer Julia and I would talk about how we were going to marry Doug and Kyle. We would talk about when and what kind of weddings we wanted. Little did we know we would actually marry these boys. Our dreams came true!
