Day One Hundred and Seventy-Six-Our drive to California

Our morning started at 3am when we got up to get ready and pack our car. We wanted to leave Provo at 4am to get to California at a good time. We picked up Camille and George, then Jessica(who we were dropping off in Vegas)and we hit the road. Well we didn't make it very far. We got a little passed Payson and we got a flat tire at 4:30am!!! Luckily George has worked in a tire shop and knew exactly what to do. Next question was What do we do??????? We drove to the nearest Wal-Mart in Payson and had to WAIT for the tire shop to open. We waited for 2 and half hours until the tire shop would open. Jessica, Camille, and I headed for the magazines picked out all the trashy gossip ones and sat in the shoe section reading them. Doug and George found a football and tossed that around the store until they got in trouble. By 6am we were getting hungry and so we headed over to their deli and got some sandwiches. It was a LONG wait, but as weird as it sounds, I'm glad we were in Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart really does have it all. I felt like the girl from Where The Heart Is, when she lives in the Wal-Mart for a couple days.

Finally at 7am they fixed our tires and we finally were able to hit the road once again. We were WAY behind schedule but at least we were getting out of Utah (better late then never). Doug, Jessica, and I sat in the back seat and slept most of the way to vegas. After Jessica was dropped off we continued on our way to the 805. Around 7ish that night we made it home!! Boy was it nice to be in warm weather at night.

The road trip home was a long one, but very memorable. Jessica, Camille, and I bonded while talking about celebrities in the shoe section.

Pulling away from Wal-Mart...Finally
