The baby did great in the ultrasound. Here is the butt shot we all wanted to see so badly...
Well we have broken the Clark girl pattern.
It's a BOY!! We couldn't be more excited. The lady asked us if we could tell what the gender was...so I paused and said "Boy?" and she said, "Yes, It's a Boy!" I about fell over I was in shock and so excited all at the same time. My eyes filled up with tears and I shed a few. Doug was smiling from ear to ear.
Best part is, he (I love saying he now instead of "it") is doing great. Has 10 fingers and 10 toes and all his little organs are working. This little guy still has a strong heartbeat in the 160's and is measuring about 6 days ahead of where I'm at. So we have a big baby in there(I'm sure pretty long).
It was so unreal actually seeing OUR baby. Let me tell you, he has the cutest profile, feet, and hands (but then again I may be a little biased). We are SO in love with this little guy already!

Congratulations Ashley and Doug... I'm so jealous.... Glad to hear all is well... Hope I can make it to the baby shower in October but if know I'm there is spirit!!! Rest up... Rachel
ReplyDeleteYAY YAY YAY!!! We are so excited for you guys! Boys are so fun! And your Dad will be over the moon for this little boy...just like he is for all the girls. But now he has a surfing buddy! ; )
