9 Months

These past 9 months have truly been amazing.

I never got really sick which made every month for me so enjoyable. I loved seeing my stomach grow each week and month little by little. One of the best parts of all of this is being able to start to feel the little movements. I was able to feel them before Doug could. I remember the first time Doug felt his son move, it was amazing. Now when he moves Doug says it looks and feels like there is an alien in my stomach. It is like a huge bulge on my side and it just rolls. The other night we could actually grab at the bulge...we think it was a fist or something like that. 

Doug has been a rock star through out this whole pregnancy. Sure I gave him a few grey hairs...but that just comes with having a pregnant wife. Doug has done so much for me over these past 9 months. If I was tired at night he would literally force me out of the kitchen and tell me to rest while he cooked and did clean up...even if there was a sports game on he wanted to watch. He was willing to leave BYU football games early (which is a big thing for Doug) if I was tired or had back aches. About a week ago I asked if he would paint my toe nails, and he totally said yes. What a stud! I told him it wouldn't matter what they looked like since I can't see my toes when I stand anyways. Doug and I have grown so much closer and so much more in love through this whole pregnancy. We can't wait to be parents!

I know this pregnancy is quickly coming to an end and it makes me sad and excited all at once. One week from today we will for sure be holding our little boy in our arms!!
