Day Three Hundred and Sixteen- Third Largest Zoo in the Country

When we looked on the website for the San Antonio it said it was third largest Zoo. Well we were all a little disappointed when we got there and it clearly wasn't. It was still a really fun zoo. I even got to see a couple of hippos. The girls loved the zoo. Scarlett kept waving to all the animals and she even says," hi bird." to all the birds she sees.

The SA zoo also has a cool kids area with a little beach type area where kids can get in and play in the water. I got my feet wet with Sophie. She however got more than her feet wet. It was a nice way to cool down in in the blazing sun. After the zoo we went on little train ride that goes around the park near the zoo. Sophie loved it and has always wanted to take a ride on it.


From the Zoo we headed over to Trinity University to drive around it for Doug. This is one of the grad schools where he will be applying to. You know this is mine and Valerie's top choice for him. But it isn't up to us, sadly. The school looked really nice from what we saw though.

That night after dinner Doug and Rob went out for a little boys night to see Thor in 3D. They both came back and said they loved it. I'm glad they went out together because it gave me time to spend some one on one time with Valerie.
