I was so glad my parents could be in town on my birthday. I'm not sure how many more they will be able to be here for and so when I knew they would be in town I was so excited.
To start off my day we went and had a picnic and Nunn's Park in the Provo Canyon and then we walked to Bridal Veil Falls. Before we walked to the falls, we had to drop my dad and Doug off up the canyon so they could skateboard down. I'm so glad Doug likes to skate and can do that with my dad. It was a beautiful day and a nice relaxing walk.
Later that day my parents treated us to dinner at PF Changs. MMM....it was so good. I'm glad I chose it. My mom even made me my favorite cake for dessert. Basically if you can't tell my parents spoiled me today. I felt like a little kid waking up and seeing my parents on my birthday morning and giving them a big hug, I haven't been able to do that for a while.
Doug was such a sweet husband, he got up before I did and brushed his teeth so that when he kissed me in the morning he wouldn't have morning breath. Plus he told me I could get the diaper bag of my choice but I have to buy it on amazon because we have quite a few gift cards racked up. This is a big thing because he has been trying to get me to get a backpack for a diaper bag and I just wont have it. But he backing down until my birthday. Um, I think I have the best husband ever!
