Doug and I went to see his two old roommates, Jacob and Jared, play in their Lacrosse game for BYU. It was our first time going to a game and so we had no idea what was going on for most of the game. Luckily we had Jacobs amazing wife Jilian to sit by to explain everything to us.
Towards the end of the game it got really close, we were a point ahead and then the other team tied it, then finally we got another point and won. At this point Jilian couldn't stay sitting, she had to stand up. Poor girl was so stressed out. I would be to if I knew that the outcome of the game would set the mood for the rest of the night.
Hopefully this wont be our last game we go to. The boys are really good and it was actually a fun sport to watch.
After the game Jared let me try to throw a ball with his stick. It was way different than anything I've done. I feel a group date coming on where Jacob and Jared teach everyone how to catch and throw with their sticks.
