For one of my classes I have to make a religious item to hang up in my house. Tonight Doug and I got to work on our Doug and Ashley Bell Mission statement. I know the whole Bell family made one a few years back and it is beautifully displayed in our home. We want to have one for just us and what we are going to stand for. As we plan certain activities we want to be able to look at it and see if it is in line with our values. Everything we do we want to help us grow closer to our Savior and be more like him.
Like I said we just started and are no where near done(it's due in 2 weeks!) Here are a few of the values we came up with....
Service
Obedience to commandments
Follow the spirit
Continuous learning
Act out of love
Achievement through hard work
Have fun
Follow modern day prophets
I can't wait until it is done.
