Day Two Hundred and Fifty-Two- Mustang Doug

Tonight I made these delicious brownies for my boss, Doug's, birthday tomorrow.

Doug(my husband) and I feel so blessed that I have this job. It couldn't be more perfect. I work as a secretary at a mechanic shop. Basically I take money, answer phones, and run errands for them. When I 'm not doing that I do homework or watch TV.

The guys(Doug and his two sons, Jake and Kirk) are so much fun to work with. There is never a dull moment around here. Just a few weeks ago, Kirk bought a few taser gun and so I watched Kirk and Jake tase themselves. I've had bottle rockets thrown at me from across the garage and so much more. I didn't grow up with brothers, so these guys are giving me the experiences I missed growing up.

Doug(my boss)is always so kind and generous to me. I like to call Doug and his wife my Utah parents. I know I can call them if I ever needed anything. They have offered to let us borrow one of his cars(his old Volvo, not one of his 6 mustangs) when our Lexus died, he invites us over for Sunday dinners and holidays. Plus they take care of me with all my car needs. This has been the perfect job for me. I can't thank the Lord enough for blessing me with this job.

These guys will forever be like family to me.

P.S. Sorry if you get a little confused reading this with there being 2 Doug's I'm talking about. It gets confusing when I talk to my parents too. I always have to specify which Doug I'm talking about.

  1. YUM! OMG! That looks DELICIOSO! I'm trying to stay away from baking sweets because I'll eat most of them - but this post sure ain't helping!
