Day Three Hundred and Four- Hoppy Easter

Today as we were getting ready for church, Doug told me he had forgotten his pants at his parents house. So what do I do? I go tell my dad...My dad is a size 32 waist so I knew there was going to be no way Doug could fit in his pants. My dad said he had some old Tux pants that were too big on him. Doug tried them on and they didn't fit. Next option...Don Wilson. Don lives behind us and him and Lisa have been like second parents to me since I was little. Don's pants were a big, but we made them work. Doug likes that he can now say he has been in Don's pants and my dad's pants. Gotta love that boy.

After church we all headed over to the Bell's house for Easter dinner. It was a test run of food that could be served at Julie and Jared's reception. Boy was it good. My mom had made a cake for dessert, that was amazing too.

After we ate we had an Easter egg hunt. Brooklyn and Easton got to go first and the adults followed. To entice all the adults to find eggs, Mom and Dad Bell hid money in some of the eggs. There was two 5 dollar bills and two 10 dollar bills hidden. There was also two bunny shaped eggs, if you got those you were given the chance to pick an egg from someone else. Man of man was the hunt intense. I was not cut out for this. Everyone was so competitive. Doug kept telling me to "hurry up" and "step it up". When I was little, there was no competition with three little girls. Overall it was a lot of fun. Doug got a five dollar bill and all I got was candy.
