Day Three Hundred and Forty-Four-Ward Social

Tonight was our first ward activity since the boundaries were reorganized. We have decided to be more active in trying to get to know people in our ward and go to activities. In our old ward we would go to church and that was about it. So tonight it was a dinner with slow cooked meat(16 hours-smoked). Doug really enjoyed the meat, while I enjoyed the sides. It was nice talking to people in our ward and getting to know them a little better.

After dinner we were invited over to the Primary presidents house to play some games. It was great because they like all the same games that we do. We played Blockus a few times and of course, Settlers. It was a lot of fun getting to know the Rankins a little better. They are a fun couple and we sure will be hanging out with them again.
