Since Rachel was in town this weekend, her family had a birthday dinner for her tonight and we were invited. It was so nice spending time with the Barlow family, it makes me feel like I'm with my own family. They are always so loving and fun to be around.
Rachel's real birthday is next Monday, but since I will be on a ship cruising to Alaska, I wont get to have a special blog post for her. Rachel was there the first time Doug and I hung out. She was the first person I called after our first date. Then she was the first person I called a few days later after Doug kissed me. She is my best friend and has always been there for me.
It was fun living with her before I was married and now that she is all the way in Idaho, I sure to miss our Taylor Swift moments in the car. Love you Rachel and Happy Early Birthday!
