Doug and I planned our schedules so that we have class on the same days and work on the same days. It’s super nice being able to drive to school with him. I think I just like knowing he is on campus the same time that I am. To make things better we have a Pearl of Great Price class together! He needs one more religion credit and I still need most of mine so it worked out perfectly. The class is going to be amazing. We have some readings we have to do from a packet he gave us and the first one was already awesome. I learned all about where the Pearl of Great Price came from and why we have it today. Did you know it was originally meant for the early saints in England? This is going to be one of our favorite classes.
It was a great first day of school for both of us! Doug got most of the classes he needed and is still on track to graduate in about a year. It is weird to think that in a year and half we will be moving to who knows where for Grad school. I’m sure hoping for North Carolina even though it is probably the furthest from all of our family. Valerie spent quite a few years on the East coast with Rob and now it will be my turn to spend some time far from all our family. I’m really excited for that next chapter of our lives to start.
