Today we woke up and made a delicious breakfast and headed out the door for a tour of Grace. Grace is your typical small town with one main road running through it...
After our short tour of everything in Grace we went to Last Chance Canal. We did have to drive down a snow covered tiny road to get there though. I was scared the whole time we were driving down it. All I could think about was grandma not being able to control the car and off we go into the frozen lake next to us. We made down to the canal just fine and it was beautiful...the water and all the snow...something I've never seen before.
Next we went to the Soda Springs Geyser. It was supposed to be this awesome geyser that goes off every hour however because of the winter in the was constantly going off and only shooting up half way. It was still fun to see it though.
We then walked right over to the Enders Hotel. It was a cute old hotel that had a museum on the top floor. Here are some pictures from the hotel
So these two pictures have a funny behind them. Grandma and Doug started to play with this antique type writer thing. Well they broke it. The main part of it wouldn't move anymore. So grandma does what and sweet grandma would do and blames Doug. So here is the proof that Doug was the one who was touching it and not grandma ;)
After the Hotel our Tour of Idaho continued as we made our way to Hooper Springs. This little place is supposed to have water that tastes like soda water. My dad was so excited that I was going there. He told me stories about when he was a little kid he would go there and bottle the water and mix it with kool aid to make their own soda. So here I am, the only one who was willing to taste it...
Here are a few more pictures from Hooper Springs...

Our las activity of the day was going to the Hot Pots in Lava Springs. It was a weird experience to get there in 30 degree weather and see people walking around in their bathing suits. I was a little skeptical about the whole thing. Natural hot water? It can't be true. So Doug and I got in our bathing suits and took the plunge....in the nice HOT water. They even had little pebbles at the bottom of all the pools. The water felt SO nice. We even got a little hot sitting in them. There was little bubbles of water on the surface and that is where the water is coming up from the ground. It was nice to relax in the pools and just talk with Grandma, Stephanie, and Craig.
