Day Two Hundred and Seven-The Best Funeral Memory

Before we left back to Utah today Grandma took us to Historic Chesterfield. It was a cute old Ghost town. It was beautiful out there. All you could see for miles was untouched snow. I never thought I would say that snow is beautiful.

As we were driving around Chesterfield, grandma decided she wanted to get up close to one of the old homes that was surrounded with snow. Well as soon she drove off the pavement the car was stuck in the snow! So Doug jumped out and started pushing...(Look at my strong husband!)

That lasted 5 min or so and we weren't getting anywhere. So grandma got out some snow melt stuff she had in her trunk and started sprinkling in behind the front tires on the snow. Just as they were doing that, a man drove around the corner in a truck and stopped to help. First he was going to pull us out but the hook would hook onto our car. Next they pushed and pushed...nothing. Finally the nice man got a shovel from his car and shoveled a bunch a snow out from behind the front wheels. Finally the car was out of the snow. The man was on his way back from his mom's funeral(Good thing grandma didn't tell him we were making funeral memories) and usually didn't drive home this way, but felt like he should go this way instead of his normal way.

Our weekend was a lot of fun. We were really glad we went up to visit Grandma Funk. It was nice to spend some one on one time with her with out all the other siblings around. We are also glad we were able to spend some quality time with Kim and Stephanie too. We can't wait to go back and visit again.

On our way home from Idaho we stopped in Logan to see the Temple. It was my first time seeing it and oh man it is BEAUTIFUL!!! I love the character of the temple. Here are a few pictures of it.
