Day One Hundred Twenty Eight-Halloween, Utah Style
Since Halloween is tomorrow, on Sunday, Utah celebrates Halloween today. Tonight we went to our ward Halloween Party. We only stayed for a while because A) we have no friends and we were sitting by ourselves for a while and B) we wanted to go to my boss Doug's house for some yummy soup his wife makes.
This was our first year we dressed up for Halloween together. It was quite fun. Last year we were just dating and on Halloween we went to Salt Lake to walk around temple square and we looked wedding rings. Anyways this year we dressed up as BYU Baseball players. We had fun playing the part =)

Day One Hundred Twenty Seven-Thanksgiving Point
Doug and I went to Cornbelly's at Thanksgiving Point tonight with Kyle and Julia. We went specifically to go in their haunted maze. It was pretty scary, but not as scary as we thought it would be. We also went in their regular maze which was pretty fun. We went in the hard side that is supposed to take 45 min to complete. Well we wandered around in the dark for only 17 min! When we came out we realized we came out the kiddie Maze side. We don't know how we ended up there, but it was pretty funny. We had a fun night with Kyle and Julie. It was fun walking around and playing with different things they have there.

Right after the haunted maze
In the not so haunted maze
17 minutes
So excited we made it out

Day One Hundred Twenty Four-Snow Already?
Tonight when Doug and I came out of the library at school it was snowing like crazy!! My heart sunk. It is starting...the cold weather, the snow, the cold arms, legs, hands, and nose. I guess this is all part of the Utah experience.
At least now I have a husband to always cuddle with when it gets too cold to bear.

Day One Hundred Twenty-One- we will fight day or night RAIN or snow
Today we headed to the football game in the rain just like the die hard fans we are. We walked to the game in the rain and once the game started it stopped raining. Someone up stairs were watchin' out for the Cougars this morning. And of course the amazing Cougs beat the hicks form Wyoming.
Raining before the game started when we got there.
We decided to wait in the tunnel thingy before the game started
<3
The whole gang
After the game we went over to Megan and Jared's for dinner. It sure is fun getting together with our group of friends. Definitely some good laughs tonight.

Day One Hundred and Twenty-SLC Temple
For our date tonight we went up to the Salt Lake Temple to do a session. It was my first time going to that temple. It was BEAUTIFUL inside. I loved it soooo much. I still believe the LA temple is still my favorite inside and out but the Salt Lake Temple is definitely my second favorite.
Doing a session in the SLC temple reminded me the most of my first time going through the temple. I love that feeling I get while being in the temple especially with Doug. As I was in the temple I thought about how I was so grateful for Doug being worthy to take me to the temple and be in such a sacred place with me. I'm grateful my mom is/was worthy to be with me when I went through for the first time. It was so comforting to have my mom next to me holding my hand through it all (sometimes literally holding my hand). My whole family is temple worthy and it brings so much joy into my life knowing that. I could never imagine my nieces being raised outside the church and not receiving the blessings of the temple when their time comes.
I have the best husband in the world that is always wanting to go to the temple with me. We still make sure we go at least twice a month. I'm so blessed to be able to be with Doug for time and all eternity =)

Day One Hundred and Seventeen-School, Schools, and More Schools
In two years Doug and I will not be in Utah. Doug will be in Grad school and so hopefully we will be somewhere else besides here. Doug and I looked over the top three schools and here they are...
1. University of Michigan
Don't worry I've done my homework...this is what the winters are like...

THIS COULD BE ME!!! All I have to say is that if I have to live in winters like this...I should get a baby to play with.
The campus does look really pretty which means that when it is not winter it could be quite enjoyable.

2. University of Minnesota
We have both heard great things about this school and its Alumni program. The Alumni are really good at helping out the Grad students.
They have some pretty cold winters too =/
However, it could be kinda fun to live in the City for a while
3. University of North Carolina
I want to go here! Valerie and Rob checked it out and they said it was just beautiful there. I know I know they have snowy winters too, but If it is extra beautiful the other times of the year I think I can handle it.
So in about one year Doug will be applying for schools and overall if Doug were to get into one of these schools or any other school I would support him and be by his side the entire time. (Even if I had to be in miserable winters, I would do it for him.)
I know we will end up going where the Lord wants and needs us and we are both okay with that.

Day One Hundred and Twelve-Pizza Night
Tonight was our date night and since I was in charge this week I decided that we should make pizza for dinner. It was a lot of fun making pizza and listening to music together.

After dinner we did what we do best, we got a Redbox movie. We watched Date Night with Tina Fey and Steve Carell. It was pretty good, but could have been funnier with these two in it.
I'm so grateful that I get to go on a date with Doug for the rest of our lives. He is my eternal date. I love how much fun we have together and that we can just laugh at each other when we are both being total goof balls.

Day One Hundred and Eleven-Girls Night
Tonight I went over to Aubrey's place and had a girls night with Megan and Jilian. So I right when I got to Aubrey's she was running down the stairs saying she was going dumpster diving with Megan for her car keys. She threw her keys away with her trash. So I headed to the dumpster with them and of course took a picture of Aubrey in the dumpster. Luckily she was able to find them with in 5 mins or so.

Well we did what girls do best....snack, talk about everything, and watch Grey's Anatomy. It was funny when we would be talking about something and Brock would pipe in from the other room. He so loved our girls night.
I love these girls so much. I'm so glad we all get along. What makes it even better is that our husbands where all roommates and so they all get along too. Doug and I are so blessed to have such good couple friends in our life.

Day One Hundred and Nine-Walmart
Tonight we ventured to Walmart to pick up my BC and get a few other things. Well we waited in line for a good 20 mins!!! This young mom in front of us was buying food like the world was going to end tomorrow and her husband and her infant baby were going to eat like a pig! Besides her buying almost the whole store, SHE told the cashier how much EVERYTHING was. The cashier would then adjust the price on everything for her. How annoying.
When we were finally checking out Doug called the cashier by name and told him to have a good night. He smiled and said thank you. I'm sure he needed that after a long day of crazies at Walmart!
