Thanksgiving Point

After Thanksgiving Point we made a quick stop at Cabellas. 

Matix LOVED the big fish tank there. He kept talking to the fish and waving his arms and legs at them. 

2 Cousins and 1 Mission

 About a year ago I was able to see my cousin Jordan open his mission call while at BYU.

He was called to the Atlanta, Georgia North Mission.

Last night I got to see another cousin, Brandon, open his call.

Brandon was called to the exact same mission as Jordan!!

It is so fun being able to see my cousins get their mission calls.

I'm so excited for you Brandon, you're going to be an awesome missionary!!

New Play Area

Mema

My mom came into town this week to hang out with us. 

Doug had to work up in Salt Lake for three days, so it was nice to have the extra help.

We had so much fun with her. Matix just loves his mema. 

They were best buds by the end of the week.

I'm so grateful for all her help she gave us.

Rise and Shout

We took Matix to his first BYU football game.

It was really hot and I took him home half way into the second quarter.

Yup, I'm now 24.

Doug made sure I had a great birthday. 

First he surprised me with an Oreo cupcake from Cupcake Chic. He was so sneaky getting the cupcake in the house. Doug sent me a text at 9 in the morning telling me where to go look for a surprise from Matix (first I thought it was poop). I scarfed it down right away.

Then I went out to lunch with my good friend Jessica. She is always good company. Thanks Jessica.

Next Megan and Ethan came over to visit with me and give me a present. 

Doug and I had planned to go out to dinner and have Julie watch Matix. When we got back from dinner, Julie had decorated the place and family and friends were at our place for a little surprise party. 

WOW. I was surprised. 

When I walked in the door everyone started singing Happy Birthday. It all scared Matix and he started balling. 

Overall it was a great birthday. 

Cute baby Ethan at the party. He is such a cute and good baby.

Thank you to those of you who remembered me on my birthday. You all made me feel really special =)
