Day Three Hundred and Forty-Memorial Day=Shopping Day with Mari
So I'm in desperate need of a few new outfits for the cruise AND Julie's wedding.
Today Mari and I ventured to the mall in search of some cute clothes. Boy did we score. I think Mari is good luck or something. We went into this cute shop we had never been in before. They had a bunch of cute skirts. So we tried on quite a few. We ended up getting the same skirt in different colors. Then we went to Down East to look for some clothes for the wedding in the right colors. We scored here too. Mari found a cute Tiffany Blue ruffled top right away and a black skirt. I found a black dress that needs an undershirt with it....so I grabbed a tiffany blue under shirt. Yes we will match at the wedding and we are stoked about it.
Thanks for a fun day shopping Mari.
(I'm kinda losing my touch, I totally forgot to take a picture of us at the mall)
Here I am with my new dress...

Day Three Hundred and Thirty-Nine-New Calling
This morning started like any other Sunday morning. I was sitting on the couch reading at about 12:20(church starts at 1pm), when I hear Doug pick up his phone in the other room. Then he hands the phone to me. I knew this couldn't be good...it had to be someone from church and I was getting a new calling. Well I was right. They asked me to come to church at 12:45 to meet with a member of the bishopric. You see I have this fear of being called to be a teacher at church. I mean it's a BIG fear. Since our ward was just recently divided and put back together, I was scared of being called to be a teacher.
Anyway, so we get to church and Doug comes into the meeting with. I told the 2nd counselor to hurry up and tell me the calling because he was giving me an anxiety attack. He called me to be 1st counselor in the Primary!!! Are you kidding me? I couldn't be more excited. That is exactly where I wanted to be...with the kids.
Our primary is great. We have about 8 nursery kids and 3 sunbeams....that's it. It is going to be so fun and I'm SOOO excited!
So I kinda freaked out over nothing....Story of my life!

Day Three Hundred and Thirty-Seven- Happy Birthday Marie
Tonight we got to hang out with some friends at Jessica's house. It's Marie's birthday, so we all went over there and had cake and played some games. It was a nice evening to spend with friends. We got home pretty late...well late for me. As soon as we got home I knocked out.

Day Three Hundred and Thirty-Six-Surprise
Today when I picked Doug up from work he had flowers for me and said happy 11 month anniversary! I thought it was so sweet. This is a big thing for Doug because when we were dating he told me he would never buy me flowers again because I always kill them. Doug said I was getting a second chance. I couldn't be happier. He made my day for sure.

Day Three Hundred and Thirty-Three-Winter still?
The past few weeks here in Utah have felt like Winter. Cold and rainy, luckily no freak snow storm. I can't wait for the warm weather to get here. My poor skin is dying for some color. Tonight Doug and I decided to pretend it was summer already and eat some sunflower seeds. For some reason sunflower seeds remind me of baseball and the summer time.

Day Three Hundred and Thirty-Two- Winner Winner Chicken Dinner
Tonight we headed up to Bre and Mark's house to play some games. We started out with Settlers(of course). Bre and Mark had not played the game in a while, yet Bre all the sudden said, "I won." She surprised us all, because we didn't suspect her or winning that soon. Next we played Blockus, we love playing this game when we get to. It just isn't as fun when there is only two people. Doug dominated at this game and beat us all twice.
It was a lot of fun to spend some time one on one with Mark and Bre. Thanks for having us over. We love you guys =)
The Winners(it must be a Bell thing)

Valerie gave me this yummy recipe while we were in Texas and Doug has been wanting this ever since we left. So finally today I had some time and made a bunch, so we could have left overs. Here is our cheaper but just as good if not better Cafe Rio Salad...

Day Three Hundred and Thirty- Fast&Furious Marathon
First off...HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY SISSY Stephanie!!! I love you and I hope you had a great day with your cute little family.
Tonight Doug and I were on a Fast&Furious kick and so we decided to watch as many of them as we could. I never realized how much I actually like those movies. Sometimes when we drive, Doug likes to hold the e-brake as we turn and pretend we are in a fast car and he is going to drift around a corner =)

Day Three Hundred and Twenty-Eight- Free Fast Five
My boss Doug is President of the Northern Utah Mustang Owners Association. Tonight they had a free movie event for everyone in the club plus friends and family. Since we fall into that category we were able to go see Fast Five for FREE! I'm so glad we were invited and went. The movie was awesome, we both loved it.

Day Three Hundred and Twenty-Four
Today we helped Camille and George move across town. Their new place is really nice and George can stand up and not worry about hitting his head (their old place had REALLY low ceilings). We are really excited about their place, little Noah is going to love it.

Later that evening we went up to Brad and Tamara's house. I went with Tamara to do Julie and Jared's engagements. They are BEAUTIFUL! It's pretty funny that Jared likes to close his eyes in pictures just like her brothers. =) After the engagements we ate dinner with them and hung out for a little bit.
Here are a few pictures from the evening...

Day Three Hundred and Twenty- Happy First Birthday Benjamin
I can't believe a year ago today sweet little Benjamin was born. I absolutely love this kid. Almost every time I hold him, he cuddles with me. It's amazing how much he doesn't look like a baby anymore, he looks like a little man.
Happy Birthday Benjamin!

Day Three Hundred and Nineteen-Missing the Holts
Before leaving for the airport we were able to go to a little farm to see some animals. There is a lady in Valerie's ward that has a bunch of land and quite a few animals. Sophie loved all the animals and wasn't scared at all. She got to pet and feed some bunnies. Sophie also really loved the baby goat she got to pet.

When we got home we cleaned up and got in the pool for a little bit before we had to leave for the airport. It was so nice to sit in the kitty pool with the girls, it was the best way to cool off in the heat.

Doug and I had so much fun spending time with the Holts this weekend. Texas is beautiful(real green, I thought it would be all desert) and so I know we will be back there. If not for school, it will be to visit. We love you guys, thanks for letting us come!
