Hang Time

Today I met some local bloggers at hang time for a play date.
These girls were all so nice and so fun to chat with.
Matix loved running around all the tramps and holding on the the ball.

Memorial Day Weekend

It was a fun filled weekend with lots of family time.
Jacob and Anderson were blessed in church on Sunday, so the Bells came into town Friday night.

Saturday-
We hit up the Provo splash pad and then had a BBQ at Matt and Mari's house.

Checkin' out the water with Aunt Julie

Back washing in Julie's water
(that is love right there)

Doug loves throwing Matix in the water.
Matix isn't too sure about it though.

Trying to get Nana all wet

Getting David wet.

David and Emily were all over the place. They had so much fun in the water.
At one point Emily got out of the water and was cold so she grabbed her towel.
Then she took the towel in the water with her to keep her warm.
It was so cute.

"Cut the pickle...
Tickle, Tickle"

Matix loved spending time with Aunt Julie

This picture was taken at about 7:30pm
Like father like son

Sunday-
Jacob and Anderson were blessed in church and then we had a family lunch up at Bre's house.
The blessing was beautiful.

When we got home from church, Nathan and Aimee stopped by.
I don't know if I was more excited to see them or baby Wendy.
Wendy was a doll.
Matix on the other hand wasn't too sure about her and hated me holding her.

Just playing with daddy

Monday-
Papa took us out to breakfast. Matix held Papa's hand all the way down the stairs and to the car.

We met up at a park in Provo canyon for a picnic.

Aunt Mari helping David and Emily with Charades

Best buds

Ryan helping Matix play Charades

Throwing rocks int he creek. Matix could have spent all day throwing rocks.
He would get sooo close to the edge and so we had to watch him like a hawk.

I'm kind of obsessed with this little stud.

Nana and Ashlyn

Mari playing with Matix in the creek

Matix LOVES dogs...from far away.
As soon as he gets close he get scared of them.
This would be Matix's little hand petting Denali.
I'm so proud of him.

Reply

Can someone tell me how to enable the reply function on my blog comments?
I want my reply to be emailed to the person.
Does that make sense?
Thanks guys, I'm not too blog savvy!

Blue Pablano

If you are looking for a good Mexican place to try in Provo,
run to Blue Pablano, yes run!
It is that good.
This is my new favorite place for tacos.
The meat has really good flavor, the steak isn't chewy, and the rice was amazing.
This place is on Center street near 500 W.
There is no big sign out front, but the building has blue on it.
If any of you are going there soon, let me know and I'll meet you there,
any excuse to go eat there.

Harper and Matix played in the back while we ate our lunch

Returning a lost wallet pays off.
Thank you stranger for giving us 20$ for returning your wallet
(even though you are stupid enough to carry around your SS card).

Last weeks happenings

The park a few times:

 The duck pond:
(Matix slipped in the dirt, rolled down the hill and hit a bush)

Matix didn't want to get too close to any ducks
(I sure do love my little family!!)
Of course he found a stick and carried it around with him

Played with cousins at Trafalga:

Mother's day:
Perfect evening with the Haynes.
I'm so glad they moved in our ward!

Matix and Ryker tossed some toys off the balcony and into the neighbors planter box below.
Doug and Brad trying to get them.
Maria and I were laughing SO hard at them.

 Loving their ice cream

Ryker trying to help wash Matix.
