Time, please slow down

When did my little boy grow up?

He is starting to look big toddler more and more everyday.
He is so full of energy and runs everywhere he goes. His new thing is cars. He loves cars. He takes the few he has and rolls them on the ground and makes vroom noises, I didn't even teach him how to do that.

Matix loves going outside and going to the park. He loves going down the slide and will do that over and over again. In less than a month Doug and I will be in hawaii and Matix will be with my parents. Matix will have so much fun playing at the park and the beach with with his pepa and mema.

Sure do love Matix and his serious faces (he does have plenty of smiles too).

Grandma Funk & Charlie

Grandma Funk and Charlie were able to spend a few hours with us today.

We went on a little walk with them and Matix loved it.

He didn't keep his eyes off of Charlie. 

Matix also had fun playing with Grandma Funk. 

He showed her his new tool box(thank you Tam) and tools.

I'm so glad Matix is able to spend time with his great grandma every once and while.

New Friend

This is Matix's cute new friend Ryker.

Ryker is in our ward and they play every sunday during sacrament meeting and sunday school.

Sometimes Ryker is rough with Matix(which he needs), but most of the time they play so well together.

We went over to the Haynes house for dinner and games the other night (which was so fun) and the boys played and sat on the couch and laughed under the blanket together. 

Outside

All winter long Matix would walk up to the door and bang on it.

I'm so glad the weather has warmed up so we can go out an play.

We spent a good 45 min outside the other day just walking around our complex.

He held my hand for all of 2 sec. Just long enough for me to take this picture.

(too bad my pants make me look all lumpy) 

So Matix picked up this berry and carried it around with him and never let it go.

Card making

Megan and I had a girls night last week and she taught me how to make cards. She is so talented and I basically copied the ones she already did. These were a lot of fun to make and I'm sure ill be making more.

Never a Dull Moment

The Park

I'm so grateful for the warm weather we have been having.

Matix loves that we can now go out side and play.

Can we please have this nice weather all summer long?

Brooke and I took the kids to the park one afternoon.

It was perfect and Matix and Harper loved it.

Bunnies

Matix and I took a nice walk (2.5 miles round trip with a hill) up to my old work to see their bunnies.

He didn't really know what to think. 

At first he didn't want me to put him down...at all.

After a while he would walk around, but as soon as the bunnies would make move, he would cry.

Temple

Lori went through the temple earlier this month. 

It was such a nice day in the temple with almost all of the Bell family(missed you Brandon and Lindsey).

Nursery seems so far away

...sometimes we have meltdowns at church.

Month in Review

I know I'm so bad at blogging these days. I can't believe I used to blog everyday. How did I do that? Oh yeah, I didn't have a baby to take care of. 

A fun much needed girls night with my 805 girls 

This was our Valentines Date. We got to go see Safe Haven. 

(It wasn't as good as the book) 

It's always a treat when the Vance Family comes to visit. 

Matix loved playing with the boys. They knew how to make him laugh SO hard.

Sister Bell was called to the Boston mission!! 

My cousin Spencer and his wife Brittany came over for dinner and a game of Ticket to Ride.

Brad got really mad at the end because he was supposed to win and we all helped Tam beat him.

February was a good month for us. 

I started dieting and working out because Doug and I are going to Hawaii in April!! 

I love my spinning class. If I could go everyday I would. I'm addicted.

I've lost about 4lbs since I started eating better and exercising.

Let's hope it's not over a month until I blog again.
